HERE ARE SOME OF THE PROGRESSIVE ACTION ALLIANCE SIGNS

Stop the Genocide on Palestine.

Perhaps the PAA has forgotten that Palestinian terrorists (most Palestinians are NOT terrorists, but there are some who are) regularly fire missles into Israeli villages and blow themselves up in order to cause the most possible death, dismemberment and destruction. Israel (like any nation) must defend her citizens, and should be able to proactively identify and stop any potential attacks.

Gaza Suffers - Free Palestine

Two interesting points here. First, Gaza is controlled by the Hamas party (recognized as terrorists globally), who seized control of the area from the peaceful Fatah party in a bloody battle. Hamas regularly threatens to destroy Israel, and does not recognize Israel's right to exist. Hamas is behind most of the missiles and suicide bombings on Israel, and Israel has a right to defend herself against planned Hamas attacks. Second, "Palestine" is not the same as "Israel". Before the foundation of the State of Israel in 1948, "Palestine" referred to a much larger area... one now part of Israel, Syria and Jordan (see above right). If the "Palestinians" want "their" land back, there is plenty of it still available in Jordan and Syria.

Stop Funding Israel Apartheid

There is no Apartheid in Israel. All Israeli citizens (Jews, Arabs and Christians alike) are allowed to live peacefully, vote, serve in Government, dress how they want, etc. Apartheid suggests that a group is somehow repressed by another, ruling party. Since the Palestinian authority controls both the West Bank and (until Hamas revolted) Gaza, they set the rules for how their own people live. Just as the US has concerns about border crossings and Homeland Security, so does Israel. There is no difference.

Anne Frank in a Kaffiyah

How insulting can the Progressive Action Alliance get. Anne Frank was a young girl, forced to hide from Nazi criminals. Once found, she was sent to a concentration camp where she eventually died. Putting her in a Kaffiyah suggests that she a) is a Palestinian sympathiser, or more likely b) that Israel is behaving like the Nazis. This is an unfathomable thought. Israel is a land of peace and equality. It is a land formed because over 6 million Jews died at the hands of the Nazis in World War II. The Nazis systematically rounded up innocent Jews - adults and children alike, took all their belongings, and then either executed them or forced them to work until they died. No Jew in his or her right mind would EVER do anything close to what the Nazis did because WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Israel out of Middle East

How blatant a statement can this be? It suggests that Israel should not exist as a nation. How does the Progressive Action Alliance intend to accomplish this? Nuclear Weapons? Suicide Bombings? Coordinated Military Attacks? No matter. It suggests the destruction of a recognized nation for the benefit of what? Where should Israel be, PAA? Israel is a country about the same size as New Jersey. The PAA is a group of hate-mongers. Israel will continue far into the future. The PAA will eventually dry up.
